Macc Racing Steering Column

This entry will cover a few items that Macc Racing has for steering options. What they have done is provide an option to those who want to adapt aftermarket bars onto their 250. This column also forgoes the tilt option that has proven to break and cause injury.

The tilt feature on an Ultra is made of a hard plastic like material witch seems to hold up well for recreational use but has proven to break under hard surf style racing.

Above photos taken of a failed stock steering Column.

Now lets show ya what the Macc Racing steering kit looks like.

Here is a shot of me stripping down the stock unit in preparation for the Macc one.

Here shots of the Macc unit installed.

Notice the four bolts were the Macc unit meets the stock steering base. No need for complicated disassembly. Just remove stock upper tilt steering and walla install the Macc Racing steering column.

The next photo is of the Macc Racing finger throttle I used along with a set of ODI locking grips. .

Also got the Star Bars from Macc.
